For the last 70 years in our 140-year history, the FRINGS company has been active in Bonn. From here we have exported and we export unique innovative processes and equipment all over the world. The present factory, originally located in an industrial area of Bonn close to the city center, is now surrounded by residential buildings within the urban infrastructure. Even if we have always been able to work well here, it does not longer correspond to the requirements of modern production facilities. For this reason we decided some time ago to move and we started to build our new facility in a nearby technology and industrial area with an optimal infrastructure.

Our new company location with production, laboratory / test department as well as the engineering and office area is located in Rheinbach 20 km outside from Bonn. The building will be finished soon and we have detailed plans to move in. We have taken the opportunity to invest in new production equipment to improve our service to our customers. Rheinbach offers us excellent transport links and infrastructure. Proximity to the universities of Rheinbach, Bonn, Cologne and Aachen as well as many high technology companies in the surrounding area will help us to forge new partnerships in the fast-paced technical world.

It is with great pleasure that we announce from April 24, 2017 the FRINGS company will be open for business at its new purpose built facility in Rheinbach.

The new offices can be reached by car via the motorway A565 or by the suburban railway S23 (nearest station is “Römerkanal”) in about 25 minutes from Bonn city center. We kindly ask you to note the new address for all correspondence with us. The new telephone number of the Head Office is: + 49 (0) 2226-8929-400. The e-mail addresses of our employees and our web presence (www.frings.com, marketing@frings.com) will remain the same. The relocation of our offices will occur  swiftly over the weekend. Nevertheless on the weekend between April 22 to April 23, 2017 there may be restrictions in the e-mail communication whilst our new IT infrastructure is being set up.

The Production Dept. will start to work at the new location at the same time as the Head Office. A number of similar production units will operate at both location for a short time. By embracing this duplication, we hope to keep disruption of deliveries to a minimum.  When we close our goods inwards at Jonas-Cahn-Strasse it can be that some delivery and collection transports must be made  to / from Bonn and others to / from Rheinbach. Our responsible person in the Purchase Dept., Mr. Neukirch (neukirch@frings.com), and our responsible person in the Shipping Dept., Mr. Neumann (neumann@frings.com), will take this into consideration accordingly during the planning of deliveries and pick-ups and they will inform you in each individual case.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our new premises in May and to a continued succesful cooperation with all our customers and supppliers . If until then one or the other matter takes a little more time than usual, we kindly ask you for your understanding.
